Who we are
Types of data we collect
We use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. The data is only used to help us see how people are using the website, for example, the number of visitors to each part of the site. The information does not identify anyone. We do not attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our websites, and we do not allow any third parties, including Google, to do so either.
When you subscribe to newsletter updates or marketing communications from us, we will collect personal information as part of the registration process. We use the information to send you newsletter or marketing emails from us; to tell you things you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check every now and again that you are happy and satisfied with our service. We will not share this information with anyone else, and we do not sell or trade email lists with any other organisations and businesses. You may revoke consent for us to use this data at any time.
When you make a purchase through our website your name, address data, email and contact information will be collected. This will be used for the purposes of managing your order and providing customer support. We will not use this data to contact you further, unless you provide affirmative consent for us to do so, e.g. if you agree to join a mailing list. We will not share this information with anyone else.
Other information uses
We may also use your information as necessary for the purpose of our legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights and interests. Specifically, this means we will collect and use your data to provide the services you requested and in our legitimate interest to improve our services.
If necessary, we may share information to comply with a court order or in connection with a legal claim, such as retaining information about your purchases if required by tax law.
